The Splif Stik uses a unique maze filtration system that works by directing the smoke around a 175 mm maze path. All you have do is insert the completed joint into the Splif Stik. Light it up and as the smoke passes through the Splif Stik, tar is collected in the maze path, and the smoke is cooled giving you an altogether smooth smoke.
