Many people say that Kratom makes them feel GREAT! In low doses Kratom has a stimulating effect, producing heightened energy and an increase in the ability to concentrate. A good starting dose is between 2 to 4 grams. It is usually mixed in with some juice and drank, or placed into capsules and swallowed. 4 to 6 capsules is a good starting dose. Effects come on after about 10 to 20 minutes if mixed with a liquid and drank, or after about 45 minutes if taken in capsules. Effects last from 4 to 6 hours, and are best felt if taken on an empty stomach. It is okay to eat 45 minutes to an hour after taking it, which may actually potentate the effects. It is not recommended to drink alcohol or take other drugs (illegal or prescription) with Kratom.
